A big day

Today Groupon went global with the acquisition of the second largest group buying city in the world, CityDeal. They did the same thing we did…2nd. Groupon is now in 18 countries, 140 cities, 2 continents, has over 900 employees, and a cajillion dollars. Give or take a bajillion. Today I was sitting in a cafe in Chicago with the CEO/founder of Groupon when the news broke. I took a picture of it. Andrew would be pissed if he knew I took this but I don’t care, I wanted to document this great moment in time. Plus, this blog is called stevenwalker.name so I call the shots here. I couldn’t feel more proud to be a part of something like this, be part of such an amazing company, and work with such amazing humans. I will never write a post this long ever again.
